Even today there are many cases come forward of Diabetes, malaria, cancer, kidney stone surgery, dengue, lepto etc.On 25th Nov 2012 Pragatee foundation, Mumbai and Shivneri Group, Hemnagar, Alibag and Sevenhills Hospital (Under the Rajiv Gandhi Jeevandayee Arogya Yojana (RGJAY)) Jointly organized Free medical checkup and Free medicine distribution and free registration for various Surgery and operation at Samaj Mandir, Hemnagar, Kusumble, Tal : Alibag, Dist : Raigad, between morning 10:00 A.M. to Evening 3:00 P.M.
Pragatee foundation selected qualified doctors’ team under Dr. Geetangali Mahadik. There were 10 volunteers and 2 Team Leaders appointed to control and manage this camp. In this camp also appointed Seven Hill Hospital Team under Dr. Rajiv Malgundkar. All local arrangement managed through Mr. Raja Keni (President of Shivneri Group) and their local social workers. This Camp was successfully organized and approximately 350-400 people were check-up. 12 patients registered in the camp for angioplasty / bypass heart surgery will be brought in operated FREE OF COST at SEVENHILLS HOSPITAL.
The main objective to organized this camp To improve access of Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL) families to quality medical care for identified speciality services requiring hospitalization for following surgeries and therapies or consultations in free of cost in SEVENHILLS HOSPITAL, Mumbai.
